Sisters Angela Anderson and Joan Snover are the creative force behind The Artist & Scribe Company. With over 25 years of experience painting together, they bring artistry and refinement to every project. Angela is a professional artist whose work has been featured on television, in books, and in magazines, while Joan, a retired teacher, leads the company’s educational offerings as Director of Education. Together, they specialize in bespoke hand painting, engraving, and calligraphy for luxury brands, weddings, and private clients—transforming each commission into a timeless keepsake.

Joan Snover is a lifelong educator and artist with a passion for sharing the art of personalization. As Director of Education at The Artist & Scribe Co., she combines her teaching expertise with her artistry to lead workshops and elevate client experiences, with a special focus on wine and spirits collaborations.
